DAILY BIBLE READING

  • Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on them, and to our God, for He wil freely pardon.

  • But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

  • And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.

    1 John 2:3-3
  • This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands. And his commands are not burdensome.

TEM 1051 APRIL 8, 2010 – DOING AWAY WITH THE NAUGHTY HEART

TEM 1052 APRIL 15, 2010 – SPIRITUAL RECONCILIATION
If you have forgiven everyone on earth and you have one you are yet to forgive; you have not forgiven anyone. Reconciliation is bringing two things that are separated and making them one again. TEM 1055 MAY 6, 2010 – BEWARE 2: FALSE PROPHETS
Beware of those who say –“Thus says the LORD” – when the LORD did not say. Be wary of false authority and false priesthood.

TEM 1056 MAY 13, 2010 – BEWARE 3: FALSE TEACHERS & PREACHERS
After you have acquired knowledge (the truth), you need to get wisdom and understanding. Once you are enlightened by the LORD, do not fall away!!

TEM 1058 MAY 27, 2010 – LIFTING ALL BURDENS
How to lift all burdens to the LORD. Every burden comes from within and can be overcome. A spiritual process that encompasses humility, spiritual repentance, treatment of others and patience.

TEM 1059 JUNE 3, 2010 – IS TAKING ALCOHOL SINFUL?
If man does not know himself – and only God knows the ways of a man – how can a man determine what is excess? The elect of God should stay away from anything that does not edify or glorify God; or that may cause another to stumble.

TEM 1060 JUNE 10, 2010 – OBEDIENCE 1
Obeying God with everything you have. The most important test of love of God is obedience. Your obedience to the word of God is proportional to your love of God.

TEM 1061 JUNE 17, 2010 – OBEDIENCE 2: DOING ALL THINGS TO GOD: THE GREATEST SPIRITUAL VICTORY.
Implicit obedience by doing all things to God, not to please any human, or in fear man is the greatest spiritual victory. Our only reason for restraint must be out of love and reverence to God alone.
Trembling at the word of God is the proof of desire to obey God. If we obey God, we demonstrate love for God, and Satan is terrified.

TEM 1062 JUNE 24, 2010 – OBEDIENCE 3: DOING ALL TO GOD: THE MYSTERY OF JUDAH.
God, and God alone deserves all our praises and exaltation; He alone has given us all the good things. We should never let the gift come before the Giver. God will never share His glory with any man or the devil. Give God the glory in all occasions.

TEM 1063 JULY 1, 2010 – MONTHLY PRAISE & LOVE FEAST
God will never leave and forsake us – when we never leave and forsake Him too; then we are one with Him!

TEM 1064 JULY 8, 2010 – CONSIDERING OTHERS FIRST
Putting others first, before you. Anyone who is not doing this is lacking something in his or her knowledge of God. Christ considered us first, hence He gave Himself for our salvation, thereby giving us an example to follow.

TEM 1065 JULY 22, 2010 – ENVY: THE GREATEST POISON
This an ungodly character capable of hating, damaging and killing without a cause; it is an element that tries with all seriousness and urgency to swallow up and consume any one he considers to be doing better or even as well as he is. He is never content, and always itching to hear and rejoice over another’ s calamities. He is a curse to himself and others around. One who is still envious of others is yet to be born of God.

TEM 1066 JULY 29, 2010 – GENERATIONAL CURSES
All those who are truly one with Christ (know, walk and live Christ) have been delivered and liberated from all generational curses; they are translated into the kingdom of light. They need no more worthless deliverance and liberation. Without true knowledge of the truth, i.e. living the word of according to the Gospel and doctrine of Christ, generational and any other curse/bondage cannot be broken. If any wants to be set free, let him/her live the Word.

TEM 1067 AUGUST 12, 2010 – SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD
What it actually means not to be bonded with an unbeliever. An elect of God is a peculiar person separated/severed by God unto holiness and righteousness. One cannot eat his cake and have it, drinking of both the cup of God and the devil. The elect of God cannot run to do evil with those of the world; it is no more business as usual, for the things a born of God does are usually contrary to the ways of the world. Companionship/association with unbelievers brings snares to the soul, corrupts good manners and brings slow and painful death.

TEM 1068 SEPTEMBER 9, 2010 – SEPARATION OF SAINTS 2
For clarity, this message sets out the principal factors to consider and review in whatever a child of God is associated with or involved in. including churches and denominations. Does it: fulfill the will of God and based strictly on the raw truth and practice of the Gospel and doctrine of God; edify the body of Christ; glorify God alone; fulfill the purpose and hope of your calling?

TEM 1069 / 1070 SEPTEMBER 16, 2010 – KNOWING THE WILL OF GOD
All those born of God know or should have known His will for them. A will is an expressed desire, or wish or command which one wants to be adhered to. God’ s will is expressly manifested in every word that proceeded from Him. The Holy Bible, we believe, contains the authentic and authoritative will of God. In addition, God expresses His will to some of His servants in strict consistency with His written words.

TEM 1070/1069 SEPTEMBER 16, 2010 – SPIRITUAL WARFARE: OVERCOMING THE DEVIL
It is prudent to take a quick notice that spiritual warfare can only be fought by spirits. Therefore, those who can fight and overcome the devil are true born of God, who are one in spiritual agreement with God, and who through implicit obedience live the word of God to please Him always, thereby putting on the full armor of God. God alone fights and overcomes the devil for those who are one with Him.

TEM 1071 SEPTEMBER 23, 2010 – DIVINE PROMOTION 1 – FAITHFULNESS.
God reciprocates to our works by proportionately rewarding and demoting in accordance with our performances. The foundation of all promotions is the hunger (love) we have for God and obedience to His Word. This is the solid rock foundation on which to build every other thing. Following that is the level and intensity of our faithfulness to God and His works.

TEM 1072 SEPTEMBER 30, 2010 – REFINED THROUGH AFFLICTIONS
Blessings that come from a changed life. It is for those who receive chastisement from the Lord with thanksgiving in their hearts. Blessings that do accrue from acknowledging one’s faults, sins and avoiding anything that offends God.

TEM 1073 OCTOBER 07, 2010 QUESTION & ANSWER SES SION – KNOWING AND TELLING THE TRUTH
If I know the truth and tell people about that truth, have I sinned? Will that constitute gossiping and laughing at some who is in trouble? Discussion and reference to the first paragraph of page 112 of the book – Two Keys to the Kingdom of God.

TEM 1074 OCTOBER 14, 2010 DIVINE PROMOTION 2 – FAITHFULNESS ABOUT GOD & OTHERS
Faithfulness concerning the things about God, about other people, about our spouse or partner; and faithfulness on things that are of a general good. Reexamining the priorities in our lives concerning God, our time, talents and treasures / resources. Unfaithfulness can lead to divine dispossession and total rejection by God.

TEM 1075 OCTOBER 21, 2010 DIVINE PROMOTION 3 – DIVINE HUMILITY – SUBMISSION
Without divine humility – a complete brokenness and a contrite heart – we cannot know God. The need to become absolutely nothing before God. Let the One who is the Judge and the One who can promote, justify you. One cannot get divine blessing, righteousness and holiness, serve and know God without divine humility. A review of the story of Ruth. Obedience leads to faithfulness to humility and to submission.

TEM 1076 OCTOBER 28, 2010 DIVINE PROMOTION 4 – GENEROSITY AND HOSPITALITY.
If you want promotion, be generous and hospitable. If you are ‘ close-fisted’ you may be ‘shooting yourself in the foot’. We are to be liberal (with free will from the heart) be cheerful givers as unto God. Give God your all – you and all you have belong to Him; and come from Him. Give to the needy and poor and make Him known to all. Learn to be hospitable, some have ministered to angels unaware. Be fruitful, productive and thankful.

TEM 1077 NOVEMBER 4, 2010 DON’ T GIVE UP
What if I have done my best and all I can do concerning some issues and relationships. One who is born of God is like God. God never gives up. If we grow weary with anyone who is lost then we are weak in our knowledge of God. If you have done your best, what really is your best? There is no limit to love or forgiveness – it cannot fail. It is the fruit of the Spirit.

TEM 1078 NOVEMBER 11, 2010 DECLARING THE WORD.
It does not matter what we say, unless we do and live the word of God, what we say will not happen. One cannot declare what he does not know. Except we live what we declare, we are liars. All we need is to do the will of God before we start declaring. Declaration becomes reality for us only when we live the word and become one with God. God and His word are the same – inseparable! Everyone knows of God but not everyone knows God. We know God because we love God and we love God because we obey Him.

TEM 1079 NOVEMBER 18, 2010 THE LIGHT OF GOD.
Are we the light of God in the world? Have we shone or are we shining selectively (perhaps in the church only)? Whatever light that does not shine continually and consistently is not the light of God. One light of God rules the day and another one the night. What if believers were to shine as light? He is the light that goes on and we are His light on the earth. A look at the character of the light of God.

TEM 1080 DECEMBER 2, 2010 MYSTERY OF ALL MYSTERIES.
The mystery of the kingdom of God that confirms all mysteries. The greatest assurance that God can give and one can get. It is also the greatest assurance of all healings, miracles, prosperity and all victories. It is the greatest confidence booster and strength from God. When we acquire, understand and live this mystery, we would have the greatest demonstrative evidence that God is with us. Emmanuel – God with us!

TEM 1081 DECEMBER 9, 2010 ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED? Part 1 – ABUSE OF GRACE.
The fix-it-all, cover-it-all of our sins. A lazy Christian ‘drug’ – an ‘ all-in-one’ laziness that gives people a false sense of security disguised as grace -all about grace. Grace abounds all the time, but how are we sure we would abound all the time? God is always gracious – but grace has its limits and purposes. We cannot take God for granted because of grace. The blood of Jesus truly covers all our sins, but Jesus did not die for us to kill Him daily. Grace is unmerited assistance given to someone for regeneration. By grace we are saved. Once we know the truth and we are saved then we are accountable to seek the Lord and walk in His ways.

TEM 1082 DECEMBER 16, 2010 THE PURPOSE OF GRACE
A discussion on grace by Pastor Russell Raia. Grace has a price paid by Christ. Grace is unto those who have surrendered. Once you know the truth, you cannot claim ignorance.

TEM 1083 DECEMBER 23, 2010 ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED? Part 2 – A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY.
This is the doctrine of the devil that creates a false sense of security among those who believe they are saved. Salvation is not the end, but the beginning of a rigorous journey – an endurance test. Jesus said that whoever endures to the end shall be saved. A race is not won until the runner gets to the end. Once we have received the grace to be saved, we are to seek and find grace and be transformed and translated into His kingdom. Salvation is deliverance and transformation. We are delivered and radically transformed – all things become new.

TEM 1084 January 6, 2011 SEEKING GOD IN 2011 AND BEYOND
Seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. You cannot focus on anything else before God. This is a heart issue, for where your heart, that is where your heart is. What is our first priority? Have we truly put God first in all things with all our hearts and mind and soul? Are we prepared to live the life – the message of His kingdom that God has for us?

TEM 1085 January 13, 2011 ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED? Part 3 – JUDGMENT
A discussion of true salvation and judgment. What does salvation really mean? How many truly have been saved? That we have been saved does not mean that God has removed from us the power to choose. Lot’s wife was delivered but she refused to be transformed. The purpose of judgment is to separate the good from the evil. In order to keep those given to Him, Christ sanctified Himself – we should not be found misleading others. Once delivered and saved we are to walk the ‘highway’ of holiness and righteousness all the days of our life. Eternal life is to know God.

TEM 1086 January 20, 2011 ACCOUNTABILITY OF STEWARDSHIP
A time comes in the life of every human being that we must give an account of everything that has been given to us. Every person must face the judgment of God individually. We would account for ourselves and others. Accountability is about works not about grace. It is by grace we have been saved to produce good works that God has ordained beforehand for us to walk in. Grace leads to repentance and after repentance we are to produce the fruit of His Spirit – works of righteousness. To all seven churches in Revelation, Jesus said – I know your works – not your grace.

TEM 1087 January 27, 2011 A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT – ONENESS OF MIND
Unity of purpose and oneness of mind of the brethren is from God. It is a manifestation of the presence of God. Because, without God we cannot do anything.. Wherever there is no peace, God is not there because He is the Prince of peace. Without oneness of mind, we are not serving the Lord. One mind is the mind of Christ. Any mind that does not seek the kingdom of God first and His righteousness is not born of God. This is what separates those born of God and unbelievers. Oneness cannot occur without perfect love.

TEM 1088 February 10, 2011 IN THE MIDST OF STORMS and SPIRITUAL FORGIVENESS
Without Affliction and tribulations we cannot be in the kingdom of God. These are necessary storms and relevant parts of life. Blessed is the one refined by fire but woe to the one burnt in it. Spiritual forgiveness is forgiveness from a Godly heart – a heart that has been transformed out of sincerity and good faith, with no trace of bitterness or prejudice against the one who offended.

TEM 1089 February 17, 2011 MENDING YOUR WAYS
To have a relationship with God, we must begin with ourselves. We must consider our ways and mend them. When we have known the truth of God and we refuse to mend our ways, then we do not know God and love Him. The way to mend our ways is to reverentially fear God, tremble at His word and depart from evil. If we love God and fear Him, we would obey Him.

TEM 1090 February 24, 2011 THE DEDICATED MINORITY – Part 1
Three questions discussed from 1 John 4:2, John 4:7-29 and Romans 8:28-30. The dedicated minority is about the remnant of God that cannot fail. These are the unpolluted few who have not sold out or compromised. These are those truly married to God, who will not turn away, but will stay on the truth to the end. They do not compromise or try to please men. They focus on pleasing God and are given to understand the mysteries of God.

TEM 1091 March 3, 2011 THE DEDICATED MINORITY Part 2 – Remnant of God
This ‘ remnant’ of God quickly accepts responsibility for his or her evil ways. They have a baby’ s heart and can save a nation or even a continent. These will live and die by the truth. They have an uncommon hunger for the truth. God empowers them with the understanding of the mysteries of His kingdom.

TEM 1092 March 10, 2011 THE DEDICATED MINORITY Part 3
This ‘ remnant’ of God and dedicated minority are kept by God for His purpose. He (God) loves people and wants all people to be reconciled to Him. The remnant has been given the power to believe, understand and keep the word of God. He has also given them the power to be transformed or conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ, by the power of His Spirit. We are to examine ourselves and ensure that we are in agreement with God, if we are born of His Spirit.

TEM 1093 March 17, 2011 THE ESSENCE OF TIME
We would look at the essence of time in the life of a human being. Tsunami in Japan, earthquakes and turmoil in different places, suddenly man forgets all the ventures of this life. It is time for us to turn our eyes to spiritual things. What is the time right now? One goes to his maker, another is born. One is crying, another is rejoicing; yet man will not stop and ask – What is the purpose of God for me?

TEM 1094 March 24, 2011 DIVORCE – FROM THE WORLD
The ‘DIVORCE’ that each person, committed to walking with God, must be involved in. The remnant of God, the elect of God, has to separate from clinging to the affairs of the world and cling to the word of God. We cannot be married to God and the world at the same time. From the beginning, God has always demanded separation for everyone He has called – separation of light from darkness. Only God can do that – reveal His mysteries, the need for separation and enable every willing person to achieve this in His kingdom.

TEM 1095 March 31, 2011 WHAT DO YOU SEE?
What we see is what we become. You cannot become what you do not see. The clarion call of the LORD to believers now is separation. To be separated from the world and to live the life of Christ, we need the perspective of God. If we don’ t see God, His word and His purpose, we will argue against Him. What we behold is what we become, if we behold the world, we will become like the world. Jesus appeared to Peter in John 21 to show Himself to Peter and re-commission him to God ’s purpose.

TEM 1096 April 7, 2011 THE INTEGRITY OF THE HEART
The innocence of the heart. This is the ‘heart of the matter’ –an unblemished and unimpaired heart– the state of being complete. The restraint of the Holy Spirit is what makes the child of God different from others. God has reserved two things to Himself – only God sees the heart, we cannot even see our own heart. Also, God has reserved the essence of time in the life of man to Himself. The heart is precious and we must guard it jealously. Examine our intent and motive in everything we do (stop, look and listen) – is my action consistent with my heart and is my heart consistent with God?

TEM 1097 April 14, 2011 REVERENCE IN THE SANCTUARY OF GOD
Reverence is the sanctification of a person. Anyone who comes to God must believe that God is holy and righteous; He rewards those who seek Him diligently. A holy God can only stay in a holy place. You cannot go into the presence of God without being changed. We are the temple (the holy place) and the spiritual house (sanctuary) of God. If you are going to the physical house of God and your spiritual house of God (your body) is not clean, you are wasting your time. You and I are supposed to be the main and only sanctuary of God.

TEM 1098 April 21, 2011 JESUS – THE NEW STANDARD
A reminder of what we already know or ought to know is not amiss. Believers in Jesus Christ, who ought to operate in the new standard that JESUS came from heaven to earth to show, sometimes find ourselves operating in components of the old standards. Jesus came to show us the way, so we can follow Him (the Truth), and have everlasting life – and then lead others to Him. We are called to be witnesses of the Truth, the new standard in Christ. This standard is Christ – His teaching, His sayings, His life that we have been called to follow. This standard fulfills the law and can only be achieved is we are born and led by His Spirit. It is not about knowing the scriptures – it is about living them.

TEM 1099 April 28, 2011 THE SPIRITUAL SANCTUARY OF GOD
This is about reverence in the sanctuary of God – part 2. There is a physical and a spiritual sanctuary of God. Sanctuary is a place of worship. You have to be sanctified to come to where God is. If your heart is full of darkness, you cannot stay in God ’s place. The physical sanctuary is like an office (open to the public), while the spiritual sanctuary is the home (a private place). If God seriously cleansed the physical temple, then what will He do to the spiritual temple that He dwells in?

TEM 1100 May 5, 2011 JESUS – THE NEW STANDARD – Part 2
Has the new standard of Christ done away with the old standard (testament) or is it an establishment of the original standard of God? Why does it appear to be in conflict or contradiction with the old or is it? What are the consequences of someone still living under the law or the old standard? God was, is and will always be the same; He does not change. God and His Word are the same and God can never fail. Jesus came to affirm or confirm, clarify and correct (set the records straight) concerning everything God has said.

TEM 1101 May 12, 2011 JESUS – THE NEW STANDARD – Part 3
Christ came to affirm, clarify and correct the way of the Father. What is the source of the authority of Jesus Christ? We examine four items of evidence to support the authority of Jesus Christ. There is no legitimate authority without implicit obedience. Disobedience invalidates authority. We look at the role of Holy Spirit in clarifying the WORD – CHRIST. Jesus is the New Covenant – what then is this New Covenant? What would happen to one who is living by the old standard (the law) that Jesus has voided?

TEM 1102 May 19, 2011 JESUS – THE TRUTH
Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We’ve seen that Truth came to affirm, clarify and correct the way of the Father. However, He emphasized that it was important for Him to go, so that He would send His Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. Why is the Truth not the basis of what we do if we are born of His Spirit? Anything that is not the truth is a lie. God cannot change and God cannot lie. If we are His, how then should we live? Is there a need to revisit our foundation to ensure we are His?

TEM 1103 May 26, 2011 SOWING SEED
Your offering or giving is not acceptable to God, unless it is freely, willingly, thankfully and cheerfully given; and it must not be out of necessity or obligation. We look at the three essential elements of giving; and what it means to appear before God empty handed. Whatever leads to salvation in God is free and should be freely given. Whoever charges money for what he or she does not own and what was meant to be given freely is a thief.

TEM 1104 June 2, 2011 FORGIVENESS AND PUNISHMENT
Spiritual repentance will bring you forgiveness but not necessarily void punishment or consequences. God will not despise a broken spirit and a contrite heart. The issue of ignorance versus innocence. God will not punish the innocent; He will even restrain him or her. An ignorant soul receives lighter punishment and mercy because they don ’t know what they are doing. When anyone turns back to God, He abundantly pardons and forgives. Who is a presumptuous soul? Every deed receives a recompense or punishment. God’s punishment is without malice and He always wants His people to turn back to Him and those who know Him to intercede for the others.

TEM 1105 June 9, 2011 ASKING AND RECEIVING
This can also be described as seeking a Godly priority. Abraham’ s blessings are mine, what about Abraham’s faith, love, patience and suffering? When we ask outside of the will of God, we ask amiss. Any asking that is not focused on knowing and pleasing God is asking amiss. Earthly success is not necessarily God’ s definition of success. Pursue those things which are not perishable, because whatever that is not anchored on God will not last and will perish.

TEM 1106 June 16, 2011 FULLY FOLLOWING GOD
The Lord is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth. To follow the LORD (Spirit) is to follow Him spiritually. To fully follow Him is to follow Him with all our heart and mind and strength. He calls us to Himself and enables us by His Spirit to follow Him and make Him our first and only priority. However, when we refuse to hear His voice and obey Him (He is Truth); then He will let us go our way. His purpose is for His glory, honor and praise and to bring others to Him.

TEM 1107C June 23, 2011 SPIRITUAL REPENTANCE – ‘IT IS TIME’ CONFERENCE
SPIRITUAL REPENTANCE – Dealing with four characteristics of spiritual repentance. Sincere acknowledgment of wrong doing and the place of a broken and pure heart. Resolving to forsake all evil ways and avoiding the blame game. Consequences of not departing from or forsaking all evil. The love of God that restrains us and helps us to return to the Father.

TEM 1108C June 24, 2011 TO BE BORN OF GOD – ‘IT IS TIME’ CONFERENCE
There is no one who hears this message from God and returns, unless God has drawn you, because the message is bitter – but it will heal you. Grace is for regeneration that leads to radical transformation. A review of the four characteristics or elements of anyone born of God. Anyone who does not possess these is not born of His Spirit.

TEM 1109C June 25, 2011 AM –LOVE and HUNGER for GOD – ‘IT IS TIME’ CONFERENCE
The intensity of love for God that makes God not pass over us; but allows His anger or wrath to pass over us. The kingdom and character of God is reflected in the two keys of love and obedience. The knowledge of the truth is the perfection of the two keys. The test of love and the concept of being the first and the last. Doing all things to God and the mystery of Judah.

TEM 1110C June 25, 2011 PM – CLOSING–LOVE for OTHERS – ‘ IT IS TIME’ CONFERENCE
Do not take vengeance. If we do not forgive everyone from the heart we will not see God. Lack of forgiveness will even make God to retract His forgiveness of our own sins. We are called to bear fruit and consider others first. The mystery of all mysteries – Emma nuel – God with us.

TEM 1111 June 30, 2011 – IN HIS PRESENCE
Three days in His presence. In the presence of the LORD, there is fullness of joy. A simple mystery that many are missing. God manifests His presence, when He sees hunger for Him that surpasses any other thing or person we seek in our lives. In the presence of the LORD is the time to mend ways and seek Him with all our hearts.

TEM 1112 July 7, 2011 – DIFFERENTIATION FROM AN UNBELIEVER
What sets a believer apart from an unbeliever? It is the main issue! If I behave like an unbeliever, then I am an unbeliever. The Spirit of God in us separates us from unbelievers. The Spirit of God is light, and we are the light of the world. We are created in Christ, born in God unto righteousness and holiness. His grace leads us to salvation, which leads us to transformation in His image. The greatest differential is LOVE – to be perfect in love as our heavenly Father is.

TEM 1113 July 14, 2011 – SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING
To hear is not to understand and natural understanding is different from spiritual understanding. Jesus often said that “He who has an ear should hear – what the Spirit is saying”. The Spirit of God gives understanding and this is crucial to loving and obeying God. Understanding involves seeking God and His righteousness with all your heart, departing from evil and learning to walk in humility and trust. The main purpose of understanding is to do all the will of God.

TEM 1114 July 21, 2011 – SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING – Part 2
Unto those who are given to understand they will understand. Understanding is the biggest problem in churches today – It is the Spirit of God that gives understanding. Then, the issue to deal with here involves two questions. How do I know that I have understanding? How do I sustain understanding? This will keep the truth in you and prevent you from deceiving yourself and being deceived.

TEM 1115 July 28, 2011 – SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING – Part 3 THE PLACE OF PRAYER
Understanding the place of prayer in the life of every believer. Prayer, though it is very important, cannot get you into the kingdom of God. Many believers pray more than they obey. We pray to avoid temptation and keep hope and faith alive. Prayer of the righteous avails much. Prayer without obedience is vain and an affront on God.

TEM 1116 August 4, 2011 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON PRAYER
Why did God choose, in all the priorities of life, to tell us that prayer is less than the least of the gifts of the Spirit and the beatitudes? The truth can never set you free until you understand it and obey it. Understanding gives you Godly priority. Godly priority makes sure you are deceiving others or being deceived. It enables you not to waste your time. The greatest force that makes God hear you and answer is implicit obedience.

TEM 1117 August 11, 2011– ANSWER ON “HEAPING HOT COALS OF FIRE”
Paul said we should do good to our enemies so that we heap hot coals of fire on their heads – what is wrong with that? Paul was quoting Proverbs. We have to understand the full context of every scripture by looking at origination, connection and termination points. God is not deceitful, He does not contradict Himself. He cannot ask you not to repay evil for evil and then ask you to do good in a deceitful manner to create evil.

TEM 1118 August 18, 2011– MANY FACES OF VENGEANCE
Why should I not ask God to judge between someone else and myself? If I do so, I have already judged and condemned that person. Those born of God do not get involved in things that can make them fall like judging and condemning. You can only judge when you are perfect or the owner or commissioned to do so by the owner. What shall I do to someone who has become a perpetual tormentor? What constitutes vengeance?

TEM 1119 August 25, 2011– WHAT DOES THE LORD REQUIRE?
What does the Lord require of those He has found and called? What a privilege to come into the love of God. Now we have found love, we are required to produce love and show obedience, as enabled by His Spirit. This involves living the message of love, producing fruit of love and enduring with love to the end. Jesus, who is our example, was full of love and still righteous (grace and truth); walked humbly before the LORD and showed mercy to the end.

TEM 1120 September 1, 2011 -IDOLS Part 1 – SOME IDOLS IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD OF GOD
We speak not of the idols that are carried about, but the idols that speak and hear – idols of human beings in our lives. We live our lives to impress others. We want to look good, instead of being good. One who is born of God has taken on the Spirit of God and has the mind of Christ. We need spiritual understanding to set Godly priorities and to avoid the fear of men. There is nothing anyone can do to save or destroy our soul. The only One who can save/destroy is the one we should obey – God.

TEM 1121 September 8, 2011 -IDOLS Part 2 – PLACE OF PEOPLE IN OUR LIVES
The fear of human beings that lead us to displease God and to lie or dishonor God. Our daily preoccupation with what people say or think about us. If I lie unto man and displease God, who then will save me? Living our lives daily to please others. Seeking self aggrandizement and self advantage instead of seeking and doing what the LORD has called us to do.

TEM 1122 September 15, 2011 -IDOLS Part 3 – THE IDOL OF SELF
Dealing with the idol of the heart in one’s life – the idols of pride and self-esteem. If one is going through any bad experience, consider yourself first; you will find fault with everyone else except yourself, if you are not careful. Check to see why you are doing what you are doing – are you competing with and comparing yourself with others? Humility versus the pride of heart. When we exalt ourselves, we’re bringing ourselves above the knowledge of God in Christ. God says He will resist and bring such people down.

TEM 1123 September 22, 2011 – BEARING WITNESS OF YOURSELF
We want to share with people the good things we are doing but not the bad. Anyone who bears witness of his/her good works does not know whether he or she is truly called of God. Bearing witness of oneself is to promote self before man. Testify of what God has done for you but never testify of what you have done for God or for others. What is the motive of your heart? A testimony is a report and you give a report to your boss. If you testify to the world, you want the world to love and approve of you.

TEM 1124 September 29, 2011 – THE IDOL OF SELFISHNESS
The issue of self-advantage – always asking – what is in it for me? One who is selfish can never be pure in heart. Selfishness is evidence that one is imperfect in love. It involves always doing only those things that are of interest to you and your family. Remember Lot. A selfish person will never be right or correct about any decision. If God is with you – no selfishness from another will stop you from God’s blessings. There is a need to also deal with the other idols of self-justification and self-righteousness.

TEM 1125 October 6, 2011 – THE HUMILITY THAT LEADS TO REPENTANCE
Without humility, you cannot see yourself as a sinner or as doing wrong or needing salvation or a Savior or even needing to turn around. One who is not humble cannot bear any lasting fruit of the Spirit. He/she will either ‘destroy’ or ‘eat’ the fruit. One who is not humble is likely to be more self- righteous and be conceited focusing on ‘works of the flesh’ instead of ‘love – fruit of the Spirit’. The humility that leads to repentance is the one that comes from God, as we see ourselves in the light of who God is (His character and nature). This is divine humility – from the heart.

TEM 1126 October 13, 2011 – Q&A on RECONCILIATION AND GENERATIONAL CURSES
Question 1 – Is it okay to practice the 3-step formula of reconciliation? Reconciliation is the completion of forgiveness; and is to forgiveness as it is to love. Without seeking for peace, love is not perfected. There is no limit to forgiveness and no limit to seeking for reconciliation. Question 2 – What about Generational Curses? There are standard ‘across the board’ generational curse for anyone who hates God. However, if anyone ‘breaks rank’ from the evil of their family or inheritance and turns to love and obey God, they break free from the curse. There is the specific and ‘narrowly tailored’ curse. And God is not a respecter of any person. However, God does not impute the iniquity of the father on the son, except the son is one with the father and does the same evil as the father. There is the new covenant established in and by Christ by the love and mercy of God. There are no more curses for anyone who belongs to Christ and is walking in His Spirit.

TEM 1127 October 20, 2011 – SIN – THE POWER OF THE DEVIL
Disobedience to God is sin. If you know what to do and do not do it, it is sin. As a child of God, the primary warfare is against sin – victory over sin enables us to fully love and obey God. We must resist temptation and war against our flesh and thoughts. The main focus of Satan is to get us to disobey and doubt God; then He (satan) can have power over that person. S in separates us from God; and leads to shame, reproach, curses, destruction and death. We resist Satan, by submitting to God and having dominion over sin.

TEM 1128 October 27, 2011 –THE MOST DANGEROUS DELUSION
This involves excusing, tolerating, rationalizing and trivializing sin! Sin, no matter how the world excuses it, is a moral deprivation. It is an abomination before God – a revolting reminder of man’s rebellion dating back to the garden. Whoever sins presumptuously or intentionally has assumed the risk of death. If one sins intentionally after knowing the truth – (you know what you are doing grieves God and you keep doing it)- that one has not been delivered from the domain of darkness. One born of the Spirit of God cannot knowingly, intentionally, with reckless abandon sin. When we say ‘how can we be perfect and holy’, we underrate and underestimate God and His power to change people who are willing to obey Him. When one murmurs about (and against) the commandments of God, then it becomes difficult to change.

TEM 1129 November 3, 2011 – TO DEAL WITH SIN – WALK IN THE SPIRIT
We have to deal with sin because sin leads to death. The gift of God leads to life and that life is in Christ Jesus; and the Father’s gift is the Holy Spirit. The key issues to deal with are whether one is born of the Spirit of God and walking in the Spirit. Are we following the Spirit of God? If we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh -sin. Rather than focus on sin, we shift our focus onto Christ who has given His Spirit for our life here on earth; if we are born of Him and love and obey Him. To stop sinning is to begin to obey the Holy Spirit – walking in the Spirit and led by Him to become children of God.

TEM 1130 November 10, 2011 – THE GRACE TO BEAR FRUIT
Grace is our Lord Jesus Christ. His Spirit is also called the Spirit of grace. Grace to bear fruit is the same grace to follow the Spirit of God. The best way to deal with sin is to walk in the Spirit. To do that you have to be born of His Spirit, remain alive in Him and be willing to follow (obey) and love Him. The evidence that God was with Jesus was the works that Jesus did which were of His Father. The evidence that we are led by the Spirit is the fruit of our walk with God. We cannot be fruitful unless we are connected to Him, the Vine and we also die to ourselves. We have a responsibility to follow Him and bear fruit; if we do not follow Him, we can fall back or be cut off. God is love and He sheds His love into our hearts by His Spirit and the fruit we produce is love.

TEM 1131 November 17, 2011 – THE GRACE TO BE A WITNESS
We are to bear fruit to be witnesses. There is the fruit of the Spirit and the fruit of the harvest. Without the help of Holy Spirit we cannot bear any fruit. Jesus is the Vine, we are the branches and branches bear fruit as long as they are connected to the tree. The fruit is not usually produced for the benefit of the tree or the branches. The fruit is to bear witness of the purpose or usefulness of the tree and its branches. A fruitless tree is cursed and discarded as it is not serving the purpose of the owner of the vineyard or the planter/gardener.

TEM 1132 December 1, 2011 – WHAT ELSE?
After we have known Christ or are rather known of Him, what else? This applies to those who are born of His Spirit, who walk in love and obedience by His Spirit. We are then called to always test every spirit to ensure that the doctrine or teaching is of Christ, for what is not of Christ is against Christ. We have been called to examine ourselves and consider our ways to see if we are in agreement with Him. If we are not, we are to return to Him who is our first love – Jesus Christ. We are to consider and follow Christ in our ways and set our hearts on the things above where Christ is. He came to show us on earth how to live His life for He is the Way the Truth and the Life.

TEM 1133 December 8, 2011 – THE MORE EXCELLENT THANKSGIVING
We come into the presence of God with thanksgiving, because every opportunity we have to be alive gives us another chance to consider and to mend our ways. The essence of time is in the hands of God and every time we are awake is a chance to seek God, while He is still near. We enter the Lord’s gates with thanksgiving because of His goodness. The more excellent thanksgiving is implicit obedience. Christ gave the sacrifice of thanksgiving by obedience. God will not accept the sacrifice of anyone with an unclean heart and hands. The best thanksgiving is a contrite, broken, humble and obedient heart; and God will not despise such sacrifice.

TEM 1134 December 15, 2011 – GRATEFULLNESS FOR SALVATION
The greatest gift of God to mankind is the life and sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The gift of Jesus – Salvation – is so precious and priceless. The good news is that we are saved not based on any of our works and we are not required to make any payment for salvation. If salvation was to be paid for, many people will not be able to afford their salvation. Jesus came to show us the way and the truth; He died so that our sins may be forgiven and we may have life. Jesus paid the price for all. Our best form of gratitude for the free gift of Jesus is to love and obey God and make Him known to others, by loving them and declaring His word to them.

TEM 1135 December 22, 2011 – CELEBRATING ONENESS IN JESUS CHRIST
The power of oneness in the Body of Christ and even in one’s natural family. It is time for the celebration of the gift of God in Christ to the world. Celebration for a believer is based on perfect love and implicit obedience to Jesus Christ and His Word. Eternal life is to know Christ and when we know Him, we make Him known. Celebration of Christ should be always and every day for everyone who believes. God is perfect love and God is peace. Where there is no peace – there is no God. To gather in Christ is to gather in love.

TEM 1136 January 12, 2012 – CELEBRATING ONENESS IN JESUS CHRIST
I pray that the New Year will mark the beginning of true spiritual understanding of the will of God for us, and a godly priority of that which is the only needful and imperishable thing in the life of a human being (see Mt 6:33). For whereas God has mercifully allowed us to transition into a New Year(not because we were any better than those who passed on in 2011); and whereas the essence of time in the life of a human being is exclusively in God ’s hands (see Mt 24:35,36); and whereas any moment in our life on earth is a borrowed time ( see James 4:14); and whereas we are clueless of when and how the Lender will appear to demand for that which is rightfully His (see Mt 24:44), it behooves us, from this second henceforth, to seek God with all that is within us (see Jer 29:13), by mending our ways (see Is 55:6-7), resolving never to return to our vomit (see 2 Pet 2:20-22), shunning the “feel good” and covetous doctrine of man (see 1 Tim 6:3-12), and returning to the uncompromised truth of the Gospel and doctrine of Jesus Christ, our Lord ( see Gal 1:8,9). Abiding strictly in God ’s truth is the only needful and imperishable thing (see John 15: 4-7, 1 John 3:24). Let us make this year a true year of the Lord, by never preferring the gift to the Giver; for as is written, “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul (Mt 16:26)?”

TEM 1137 January 19, 2012 – THE “IF” FACTOR
This word “if” has been craftily and surgically removed from the vocabulary of most churches. “If” is the foundation of everything about God. It is impossible for God to change – stay away from that which is not sound doctrine. God and His word are the same. God cannot change and He cannot fail, so His word cannot change nor fail. Whatever is not consistent with the WORD (teachings) of Christ is not of God. “If” is a condition precedent. If you do what God asks you to do, then God will do something more abundant than anything you can ask or imagine. God would not break His covenant or agreement with us. If we rebel against God, the agreement is broken and God no longer is bound to be with that one; but if we return to Him, He will be faithful to forgive. God is most faithful, most reliable, most dependable, and most trustworthy ONE. He is also the most predictable. He reveals Himself in Jesus Christ to everyone who believes and when we do our part as His WORD states, He certainly does His own part. He is a covenant keeping God. He never fails! When you truly find Him, stay with Him to the end.

TEM 1138 January 26, 2012 – KNOWING AND LOVING THE TRUTH
Make the truth known and defend the truth – after you know, understand and live the truth. (Not by power, not by might, but by the Spirit of the LORD). The Spirit of Truth is available to make anyone to understand, love and obey the truth. The evidence and proof that we know the truth is that we live and obey the truth that we have understood, if we are born of the Spirit of God. The best way to defend the truth is to love the truth as a lifestyle and make it known – by our fruit and our light shining in the darkness of the world. Truth that is not obeyed and lived out in our lives; is truth that is not believed. It does not matter how much we say, proclaim and declare; if we do not live the truth, we do not believe the truth. Truth is a Person and He is Jesus Christ. He is the Living WORD of God and His Spirit of Truth comes into any person who believes Him and stays to teach those who are ready to follow and obey the Truth daily. We can say it is all about Jesus – but if we do not obey Him, we do know Him and love Him.

TEM 1139 February 2, 2012 – ALL OR NOTHING
A half-truth is a lie. It is dangerous to selectively obey God. When we do that we say God is a liar and we despise Him. We also deceive ourselves and rationalize lies into thinking that they (the lies) are truth. Partial obedience or obedience out of convenience is from the wisdom of the world. The criminal minded often look for loopholes and how to circumvent the law. One who selectively or partially obeys has rejected the whole. We are to have the mind of Christ (which is a spiritual mind and the Truth) and set that mind on things above where Christ is seated. The things above are true because God is Truth.

TEM 1140 February 9, 2012 – A HIGHER PLACE IN GOD
It is time to fully follow Jesus Christ to a higher place in God! We have been called by the Truth (Jesus) to live His Truth (the WORD of GOD) fully. It is truly all or nothing. This calling is a kingdom calling – not like the world or with the wisdom of the flesh. It is a higher calling to seek His kingdom and righteousness. It is higher because it is holy and we are advised so many times in the Word of God not to be afraid to suffer like Christ did to fulfill this call. Jesus has called us to a higher place in God by His own selection. We are to personally surrender all and fully follow Him in all aspects of our lives. If we are not fully following Christ, we are following someone else and not fulfilling the will of God.

TEM 1141 February 16, 2012 – THE WHOLE DUTY – WHAT DOES GOD REQUIRE OF US?
What does the LORD require of us, if we are His children? This is the basic foundation or prerequisite for wisdom in everything. If one does not understand and practice the fear of God, that one has not started. It is the basis of everything we do in a life lived for and in God. A reverential fear of God is not out of duty or obligation but out of love. We cannot love God if we do not fear and obey Him. The word of God says that the fear of the LORD is the fountain of life and the beginning of wisdom. But wisdom needs understanding for it to be useful. Whoever does not depart from evil (the fear of God) reproaches and despises God.

TEM 1145 March 15, 2012 – BEING A TRUE DISCIPLE – 1: BROKENNESS
A disciple is a disciplined follower, a student and a learner. Brokenness – broken enough and fit for the Master’s use. One who is broken enough to understand brokenness. Completely and totally (without reservations) surrendered to God – not just with our mouths but from our hearts. Without brokenness, no one can serve God in spirit and in truth. For others, it is a mere sophisticated mirage or elusive – they cannot see. That I hear the word of God is meaningless if I do not do what I say I have heard. The only way to spiritually hear the word of God is to obey. To be broken is a miracle of grace and mercy. Being broken is a true sign of being born again – like a little baby. One who feels he or she has arrived, is not broken.

TEM 1146 March 22, 2012 – BEING A TRUE DISCIPLE – 2: WALKING AS THE LORD WALKED
Now that we have been broken, (fit for the Master’s use) which literally means to obey and follow the Master as a disciple of Jesus Christ – a servant and disciplined learner – we are to walk as Jesus walked. A disciple, as an ambassador or employee or son (mature child) of the Master, ought to walk as the Master walked. God is a holy God and is spiritual – a Spirit – you can only walk with Him if you are spiritual. He wants us to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh so we can be differentiated from the world. Being perfect as He has commanded us to be, is what sets us apart from the world. Our test of discipleship and sons-ship is in how we conduct our lives – our walk with God -Matthew 4:43-48.

TEM 1147 March 29, 2012 – BEING A TRUE DISCIPLE – 3: THE ORDER OF GOOD WORKS
First Love is God – He is our First Works – to love the LORD our GOD with all our heart, fear the Lord, depart from evil and obey Him implicitly. Without this first love and first works, everything we do is grasping for the winds. Without love we are nothing. Bearing spiritual good fruits flows from this our first love. The greatest fruit we produce is ourselves. When we are connected to the Vine – first love, we will not only bear fruit of the Spirit but we also will produce good physical fruits, by which others will glorify the Father.

TEM 1148 April 5, 2012 – BEING A TRUE DISCIPLE – 4: FULFILLING THE LAW OF CHRIST
Fulfilling the law of Christ: This is what distinguishes a true disciple (a follower, learner, and student) of the Lord. It is not what we say but rather what we do that differentiates us from the children of the world (Matthew 7:20; John 10:25). Perfect in Love: To demonstrate that we are children of our father in heaven, we must be perfect in love in our relationship with others as our heavenly father is perfect (Matthew 5: 44-48). We cannot walk together with God unless we are in perfect agreement with Him (Amos 3:3, Genesis 17-1). Without Love for others, we are not born of God and have not known him, for God is love (1 John 4:7-8).

TEM 1149 April 12, 2012 – DISCIPLESHIP – THE DISTRACTION OF LIFE
Jesus calls us to Himself to follow Him, know Him, learn from Him, be transformed to fulfill His will; and then, He sends us forth to bring others to Him ( Mark 3:14-16, Rev 4:11, Deut 8:1-2, Matt 4:10,18- 19, Matt. 16:24, John 12:24-26). The distractions of life are the lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eyes and the pride of life (1 John 2:15-16). Satan tested both Eve and Jesus on these three things (Gen 3:6, Matt 4:1-11). Once we forget the purpose of discipleship, we become distracted. When we are distracted, we become detached from the Lord, for we cannot be true disciples of His when we do not abide in His will (John 5:19, 5:30; 8:29; John 15: 4-10).

TEM 1150 April 19, 2012 – THE VIRTUE OF PATIENCE AND LONGSUFFERING
It is a problem for all of us – it is for all of us – the virtue of patience. It is so subtle and silent as we deal with people and things. One of the most difficult things in life is the practice of waiting patiently on the Lord. One born of God, as long as he/she is impatient is not yet truly a disciple. Lack of patience hindrance in divine endurance needed with walking with the Lord. This will make us to take matters into our own hands. Without patience one cannot endure to the end – Matthew 10:22. To be an overcomer you have to endure – Revelation 2:, 7, 20, 26

TEM 1151 April 26, 2012 – INQUIRING FROM THE LORD
Inquiring from the problem seems to be a problem for most of us. An ambassador is a representative; and anyone who claims to be an ambassador has to ask or receive instructions from the Master – else that one is serving him or herself. A crucial evidence of discipleship is brokenness. Brokenness involves the elements of divine humility, implicit obedience and unreserved submission. How can anyone have unreserved submission or implicit obedience without inquiring from the LORD – the one we are submitting to? Our example is Jesus Christ – John 5:30. One who does not inquire from the Lord is seeking his or her own will, serving and sending themselves. John 6:38

TEM 1152 May 3, 2012 -BEING A TRUE DISCIPLE – THE VOICE OF THE MASTER
Anyone who is truly born of God is a disciple and should be a learner, a student and a follower of the Master. We should make sure that the voice we hear is that of the Master. It is one thing to inquire, but it is another thing to hear the voice of the Master and not our own voice that desires what our flesh and us want or the confusing voices of agents of darkness- John 10:1-5. This is where we make mistakes and get easily deceived by our own voice or other voices contrary to the Word of God. The voice of man is void. The voice of God can never deviate from the truth. God is the Ancient of days and He cannot change. With the voice of God there is no variation or shadow of turning because God and His Word are the same. There is no confusion, contraction or exception. He is God and He is not a man that He should lie or change.

TEM 1153 May 10, 2012 – THE COLORS OF DESTRUCTION AND DEATH OF A DISCIPLE
Whenever anyone teaches the things of God and does not practice what they teach, they bring problems on themselves. Every disciple must walk as Christ walked. We are to live and become the word of God. A disciple must avoid the colors of hypocrisy and abuse. A hypocrite deceives him/herself and thinks that as long as human beings don’t see what they doing, then they are covered. That is self- delusion. How can we be examples to unbelievers when we are not even examples to ourselves? A disciple must not abuse or take advantage of broken, vulnerable hearts – who are seeking God. Whoever takes advantage of such vulnerable people has despised and challenged God – 1 Samuel 2:22-30

TEM 1154 May 17, 2012 – BEING A TRUE DISCIPLE – THE THREE COLORS OF DEATH
A follower of Jesus must walk as Jesus walked – sanctified by the Word. Three things that derail a
child of God in this walk are money, women (men) and fame. Overcoming these three ‘colors’ is the single most important evidence that one is a follower of Jesus Christ (child of God). Anyone who is still enslaved to any of these colors has not been delivered from the power of darkness – Colossians 1:13. That uncontrollable urge to satisfy fleshly things is not of God. Those who are of God mind the things of God – Romans 8:5-14. Those who are of God have been given the spirit to understand. When God calls you, He gives you the ability to overcome these lusts.

TEM 1155 May 24, 2012 – WHAT IF THESE THINGS ARE TRUE?
What if all Jesus said are true? What if there is heaven and hell? What if there is eternal life? Many say that they believe but still cling to this life. They do everything to preserve their lives, fame, money and positions. Jesus warned us in all the gospels that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Him and for the gospel will save it and rewarded with eternal life. People will live differently in true righteousness and holiness if they truly believe that there are Heaven and Hell. They will completely sell out for Jesus by giving all to get this eternal life.

TEM 1156 May 31, 2012 – THE MEASURE AND TRIAL OF FAITH
This is a foundation for our Christianity and lives as children of God. Faith is a firm belief, trust in, and completely unreserved loyalty to God. Hebrews 11:1 – Faith in God is a blind one that none can have unless it has been given to them. It is unnatural – it is supernatural. God uses faith to confound the ‘wise’ of this world who are really the foolish before God. It is the grace of God in Christ Jesus that is given to you to have faith in God. It is God that gives you the ability to rejoice in what you cannot see. Faith is useless (dead) without love and obedience. To exercise faith, you have to be a child – wholly dependent on God – seeing Him as your only Source and Provider arising from divine humility with unreserved submission and implicit obedience.

TEM 1157 June 7, 2012 – QUESTIONS on FORGIVENESS and PREDESTINATION
Questions dealing with forgiveness – how many times should we forgive others; Why – as to what God has done or not done; and Predestination? Are there people predestined to make heaven no matter what? God predestines people for His purpose. The purpose of predestination is to conform to the image of God; to get eternal life and to know God and make Him known. Adam was created in the image of God to be fruitful and multiply that image in the earth. Predestination and grace do not void free choice. Israel was predestined to be God’s people but not all (Israelites) entered the Promised Land nor possesses God’s promises. We are to love and obey God – to bear fruit – if we are chosen and understand His purposes.

TEM 1158 June 14, 2012 – IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME (The Blessings & Curse of Tragedy)
It could have been me that was on that plane – the day it crashed. What if it was me – would I have been ready for the appointment? What if I was on the shores of japan when the last Tsunami occurred? What if I was in Haiti when the earthquake occurred? For a child of God – what if I was relaxing in my apartment or house and my judgment occurs? At that point all my records on the earth will be sealed. There will be no more repentance or prayers for me after the end – Hebrews 9:27. Everyone will either repent now or regret later. God gives us a chance to mend our ways – one more time – Matthew 24:44. We will look at the three reminders that come in every tragedy. According to God, we are to serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our lives – Luke 1:74-75.

TEM 1159 June 21, 2012 – HOW THEN SHOULD WE LIVE?
If the things that Jesus Christ said about eternal life, death, judgment, heaven and hell are true; how that should we live? If it could have been me (in a tragedy), have I learned the lessons; and how should I order or reorder my life, going forward? Jesus said that the true test of anyone who wants to follow Him (a disciple) will be a radically altered life. If we have truly heard His voice; should we not make adjustments in our lifestyles? The purpose of a re-ordered life is to be the light that will shine in darkness.

TEM 1160 June 28, 2012 – I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES
Knowledge is to know. It is what you know and possess that determines your lifestyle. Job 19:19-29. The attitude of Job in this predicament is commendable. What is your attitude when difficulties and trials come? When it appears that you have been abandoned. Most times, we serve God joyfully only when we are blessed. Job said in his trials – I know my Redeemer lives! Don’t be like those who serve God only to get blessings. Job was not ready to sell the truth or compromise his faith. Where is God in your life when things are going contrary to what you are expecting? The blessings do not determine who or where God is. God remains God irrespective of presence (or lack it) of the blessings. Your knowledge of God will be manifested (in your attitude) when the challenges of life come.

TEM 1161 July 5, 2012 – WRESTLING AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES & FORCES OF DARKNESS
We face forces of darkness everyday if we are born of the Light and are the children of God. We contend with the physical (visible) and spiritual (invisible) manifestations of the work of these forces of darkness. Nobody, born of God, is immune to or exempt from, these attacks as the adversary roams around like a lion seeking who to destroy – 1 Peter 5:8, Job 1:6-7. As a child of God the attack could be constant. The main target of the attack is to derail and distract you. To make you use you resources on things that will not be useful. No matter what the enemy does, he has no authority over your life and that of your family; as long as you are in God – 1 Peter 3:13. Only God has the authority over life and death. If God is with you, who can be against you and succeed?

TEM 1163 July 19, 2012 – A TRANSFORMED HEART
I am born of God and I know God, yet my heart is not transformed? God is a God of all or nothing – He expects us to love Him with our whole heart. A stony heart is not yet transformed. Without a changed heart one is not saved and will not see God. There is no salvation outside of a changed heart – Colossians 1:13, Matthew 13:11. The only way to know God is to obey Him – John 17:3, 1 John 2:3-4. To call upon the name of the Lord is to do what the Lord says. God looks at the state of the heart – for that is where the Lord dwells – Isaiah 66:1-2, Ephesians 3:17. The heart is the center of divine transformation.

TEM 1164 July 26, 2012 – AFTER A TRANSFORMED HEART WHAT NEXT?
Answers to questions and matters arising from the discussions of ‘A Transformed Heart’ in TEM 1163 of July 19, 2012.

TEM 1165 August 2, 2012 – ARE YOU READY?
There will be a day when there will be no more pains, no more sorrows; and no more tears nor fears – Jesus said that and the Word of God confirms it in Revelation 21:1-5. The challenge we face today is to know if we are ready. Jesus explains with the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 that there is a need to be prepared and to watch and pray – Matthew 24:42. The ten virgins were virgins (holy – set apart for God) but only five were wise. Are we virgins today? Are we wise? Are we watching and praying? Do we really know Him – John 17:3, 1 John 2:3-6 and does He know us? – Matthew 7:21-23. We are in perilous times and need to have His Spirit and be guided by Him.

TEM 1166C Thursday August 9, 2012 – SESSION 1 – SPIRITUAL FEAR CONFERENCE
a)Understanding the nature and origin of spiritual fear (real, learned, imagined, induced and reinforced fear). People perish for lack of wisdom and knowledge, but with whatever they get, without understanding, they die a slow death. (Proverbs 4: 7; Proverbs 24:3)
b)The State of our Union (community) – the deliberate enslavement and deepening darkness of a people in the land of freedom and liberty. The sad initiation of our children to spiritual fear. (Galatians 4:9)

TEM 1167C Friday August 10, 2012 – SESSION 2 – SPIRITUAL FEAR CONFERENCE
Fleeing from manipulative, deceptive and lying strongholds of agents of darkness parading as servants of God. Recognizing, questioning and fleeing from importers, hawk ers, inducers and reinforcers of spiritual fear who do the deeds of their father (devil) for earthly gain (their belly). Those who turn away from the uncompromising truth of the gospel and doctrine of Christ and sheepishly follow these agents of darkness must also perish with them. (2 John 9-11)

TEM 1168C Saturday AM August 11, 2012 – SESSION 3 – SPIRITUAL FEAR CONFERENCE
Devastating physical and spiritual consequences of spiritual fear. One who is in bondage to spiritual fear does not know his way, neither is he free; nor does he know God; for where the Spirit of God is there is liberty; and in God there is no shadow of darkness. Progression of Spiritual fear – from– little faith to doubt to fear to itching ears to hearing of confusing voices to delusion to death. (2 Corinthians 3: 17; 1 John 1: 5-7)

TEM 1169C Saturday PM August 11, 2012 – SESSION 4 – SPIRITUAL FEAR CONFERENCE
a) Overcoming spiritual fear through perfect love and doing away with hatred, vengeance, un-forgiveness, bitterness and resentment. Perfect love, with a mind and spirit of Christ that casts out spiritual fear. God is perfect love; and where God is there is no fear. (1 John 4: 18)
b) Fighting a successful spiritual warfare. Our weapons of warfare are mighty in God through implicit obedience (perfecting love) to His words and commandments. Understanding the mystery of mysteries – Immanuel – God with us. If God is with us, who can be against us? But God is with us IF we are with Him; for two cannot walk together except they are agreed (2 Corinthians 10:4; Amos 3: 3).

TEM 1170 August 16, 2012 – POST CONFERENCE ‘MOP-UP’ SESSION
Oneness of spirit, mind and purpose are ‘essentials’ for serving the LORD with any group of believers. Wherever there are people who serve God and there is no peace or unity, God is not there. Anyone who retains vengeance or bitterness or un-forgiveness is not of Christ. You overcome every evil with love and goodness. Are we not supposed to cast out and bind demons and the devil? Yes, if we are of the Spirit of God – then we are of a higher level than the devil and his demons. It is God who draws people and transforms them. Growth in the LORD takes time (maturity process) but departing from sin and evil is immediate (now). God will not transform an unwilling heart; and there is no ‘installmental’ departure from evil.

TEM 1171 August 23, 2012 – DOES THE LORD KNOW YOU?
Eternal life comes from knowing and believing in Jesus Christ- John 17:3, 1 John 5:20, John 3:16,36. You can’t believe Him if you don’t know Him and love Him; you don’t know Him, if you don’t love Him – Rom 10:14, John 8:55, 14:15,21-23, 1 John 2:3-5. You may think you know Him and He does not know you – Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:23-30, 2 Timothy 2:19-21. We can only know Him by His Spirit of grace; but we bring our willingness to believe Him and obey Him for Him to know us.

TEM 1172 August 30, 2012 –EFFECTIVE RESISTANCE OF THE ENEMY
Dealing with the issue of resisting the devil. The activities of false prophets, teachers and deceivers. Mercy – how far can we stretch it? How not to give room to the enemy within and without.

TEM 1173 September 6, 2012 – THE ENEMY WITHOUT AND THE ENEMY WITHIN
The fear of God and the love of God is to depart from evil – Proverbs 8:13. From a position of humility and unreserved submission to God (total surrender) we move into perfect love and implicit obedience. Then the kingdom of God is within us and the enemy will bow. We need the hedge of God, before the enemy attacks. We also need to know how to deal with the enemy without and for handling the enemy within. The world hates believers because they don’t know God and believers are not to take vengeance as doing so amounts to taking matters into one’s own hands.

TEM 1174 September 13, 2012 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Is it wrong to deal with an evil doer on the basis of Romans 12:20? Provided that there is nothing and never was anything, evil in your heart. You may have to pick up a stone and hit yourself first. Will the works of false prophets and false teachers rise to the level of sin against the Holy Spirit? What if someone who claims to be a servant of God tells you something and it comes to pass?

TEM 1175 September 20, 2012 – HAVING DONE ALL, STAND
Ephesians 6:10-13 – Finally, brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. There is warfare and it is not natural war and we are advised to stand in the Lord. We cannot stand unless we are seated with Christ in heavenly places – where this war is fought. Loving and obeying God are the weapons of our warfare and having done all we put on His armor so we can stand. To seat (with Christ) before we can stand, we must be in agreement with Him and have His mind – a spiritual mind and attitude and only then can we stand and resist the enemy and he will surely flee.

TEM 1176 September 27, 2012 – THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”(Ephesians 6:13) We are to be the word of God- by living the word- then we can be seated in heavenly places with Christ – with a spiritual attitude and the mind of Christ. The purpose of being the word is so that we can serve Him in holiness and righteousness and holiness all the days of our life. Our armor is the righteousness of Christ and every aspect of the whole armor points to Christ. We only stand to the level we have put on Christ – “and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:24)

TEM 1177 October 4, 2012 – SELF CONTROL
Self control is the same as self restraint as well as divine restraint. Restraint is to keep or hold back. I arrest the action I would have taken in deference to the LORD our God. I should revenge or be angry, but I hold back in reverence to God. Without self control you’ll find it difficult to have divine restraint. The grace and mercy of God will not void our free choice. 1 Peter 2:19-25; 1 Peter 1:5-6. Self constraint is a profound fruit of the Spirit – not a gift. A gift can be abused but a fruit cannot – Galatians 5:22-23.

TEM 1178 October 11, 2012 – FOUR QUESTIONS ON SELF CONTROL
1. How does one ensure that he/she is exercising self restraint that is pleasing to God?
2. What do you do when you have a consistent and persistent foe that stops at nothing to torment you?
3. Why does God restrain evil from the wicked for the sake of the righteous?
4. Can we control or restrain ourselves without God? Isn’t God the One who restrains us?

TEM 1179 October 18, 2012 – PASSION FOR THE WILL OF GOD
Knowing and doing the will of God is one of the most critical things for everyone born of God. If one loves and obeys the Spirit of God completely and fully from the heart, that one is most likely to do God’s will in God’s way. Will is a determination or a purpose resulting from desire which gives pleasure or fulfillment. Jesus Christ is our ultimate example and He lived to please His Father by doing the will of God. John 5:30, John 8:29; John 6:35-40. When you pursue the will of God you voluntarily relinquish your own will, including your right to the timing of that will. Our passion for the will of God must surpass every other passion.

TEM 1180 October 25, 2012 –THE WILL OF GOD AND UNDERSTANDING
The will of God is an expressed will of God -expressed desire of God – either in words or by commandments. It is a desire of God that we live by every word He (God) has given us – Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4; Ezekiel 20:11. To do the will of God – you must be in the center of the will of God –
be the will of God. The ultimate desire of God is for our own good.

TEM 1181 November 1, 2012 – DIVINE INHERITANCE FOR A FAMILY
None should appear before God empty handed. No one should approach the throne of God without his or her family members. Charity or love begins at home. The greatest commandment is to love God and love others -Matt. 23:37-40. Love is the bond of perfection -Col. 3:14. Those born of God are born of love for God is love and as God is so are we in this world. The greatest love we can offer anyone including our family members is salvation. The gift of God to the world is salvation -His Son Jesus. Everyone born of God must in all godly sincerity do all within their power to show this gift of salvation to family members. God desires that we come to Him with all our family members as much as it lies within us.

TEM 1183 December 13, 2012 – DID WE PASS THE TEST?
This is the test of the love of God. When the test comes, do we pass it? Do we exhibit the divine brokenness – divine humility, unreserved submission that leads to spiritual understanding. To activate this understanding we realize that: i. All we have belongs to God – and to depart from evil – Pro 24:3, Job 28:28, Rev. 4:10-11; ii. How far am I willing to go for the love of God? Do I love God enough or does someone or something else come before God in my life? Total surrender to God triggers unrestricted, reciprocal blessings – His everlasting covenant.

TEM 1184 December 20, 2012 – YEAR END THANKSGIVING – REMINISCENCE, LEST WE FORGET
[Once we get the understanding that God owns us and everything we have – then we cannot hold back anything from God including our obedience to Him. We cannot thank God enough spiritually unless we obey Him] Reminiscence – the recollection of the long forgotten past experience or facts, lest you forget – Luke 10:17-20. Let us rejoice not just for what we have, but for the fact that God’s gift is forever in Christ. Lest we forget that the Ancient of Days does not change and does not have any variations or shadow of turning.

TEM 1185 January 10, 2013 – YEAR OF TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PART 1 – This is a year of redemption and following God wholly and completely. It is to deny ourselves, taking up our cross and fully following Jesus. No more holding back because no person’s time is guaranteed here on the earth. There is no salvation without transformation. Half-truth is not the truth but a lie. We are to redeem the time, growing in and following God wholly. Matt 10:38-39 and Luke 9:62. Following God is a total package – it is all or nothing – not selectively. There is time to redeem and another time when one will not find the time; and will seek and not find
God.

TEM 1186 January 17, 2013 – LESSONS FROM ESAU –THE DANGER OF FAMILIARITY
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PART 2 – The dangers and consequences of familiarity reviewed. It is
an unduly informal expression or act or regard. Familiarity breeds contempt – abuse, insult, disdain or rejection. Number one disease in ‘Christendom’ is this familiarity with God which eventually leads to spiritual death. God says His ways are not our ways – Isaiah 55:8-11, Ecclesiastes 3:14, 1 Peter 1:17. True grace leads us to a reverential fear of God. Familiarity is a dangerous slippery road to death; which starts from neglect and slips into devaluation or reduction of worth or significance. Devaluation leads to complacency which is a virtue for fools – Proverbs 1:32. A complacent person is self -justifier and hides under self-righteousness. Complacency is self-deceit. Proverbs 3:7, Psalm 2:11, Philippians
2:12. The solution is self-examination that leads to transformation.

TEM 1187 January 24, 2013 – LOVE COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SINS
To genuinely love is being like God for God is love. (1 Peter 4:7-8) – Love covers a multitude of sins – Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. (James 5:19-20). First, love has to cover my own sins -Psalms 32:1; 85:2. My sins are forgiven when I repent and turn away from them. I am forgiven so I can forgive others and show them the One who forgave me. Christ came to save us and has sent us with the only effective weapon against sin – Love that compels us – 2 Corinthians 5:14-21, Romans 5:5, 8

TEM 1188 January 31, 2013 – THE LOVE THAT DIES FOR OTHERS
Jesus Christ our LORD and Example told us that He willingly gave His life for us and others – John 10:15,17-18 and that He expects anyone who decides to follow Him to give up his or her own life and take up their cross and follow Him –Luke 9:23-25. He gives His followers a new commandment in John 13:34 to love others as He (Jesus) loved them – no greater love than dying for others – John 15:12-13. As hard as the old commandment of loving God wholeheartedly and loving others as us, may appear; the new commandment takes it to a higher and new standard that can only be achieved by the enablement of the Holy Spirit. There is liberty in the Spirit to die for others and it is not legalistic nor doing the works of the law – but a result of total transformation by His Spirit – 2 Corinthians 3:17-18.

TEM 1190 February 14, 2013 – DOES GOD EASILY WRITE OFF PEOPLE?
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PART 3 – God is most trustworthy and faithful to the core of everything He does. God is the most predictable person we will ever know – He says heaven and earth will pass away but His word will not. he is the only One that can neither fail nor change. We must therefore come fully to God or not come at all. It is all or nothing as partial obedience is no obedience with God (1 Peter 1:13-17). God does not forsake or reject or write off anyone. But we forsake ourselves. Whoever forsakes God, God will forsake – Hebrews 10:38-39, James 1:13-15, Ezekiel 18:23, Christ says we must follow the strait and narrow way to Him -Matthew 7:13-14. If we don’t, we can disqualify ourselves – 1 Corinthians 9:27

TEM 1191 February 21, 2013 – BEING AN EXAMPLE -WITHIN AND WITHOUT
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PART 4 – When we (who are believers) do things that do not please God – we make unbelievers blaspheme the LORD our GOD. Those who are children of God are called ambassadors of Christ – 2 Corinthians 5:20. An ambassador or extension of Christ is one who walks as Christ walked – 1 John 2:6. To be transformed into the image of God is to be as God is in love – with the help of His Spirit – John 17:20-23. To be an example to others, you must be an example to yourself first. Christ was our example while he was on the earth.

TEM 1192 February 28, 2013 – THE ‘WHAT AND WHY’ OF TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PART 5 – Transformation is easy because it is God who does this total transformation. It is the central doctrine of Christ. Any follower of God will have to fully, wholeheartedly and completely follow Him. Total transformation is the actualization of the newness of life – 2 Corinthians 5:17. Transformation – a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Transformation comes by the love and mercy of God to provide His grace for repentance – resulting in regeneration or transformation. Romans 6:1-13 -One who has stopped sinning is dead to self – one who is still sinning is alive to, and for, him or herself. Ephesians 4:24-32. The one who is totally transformed is the one who is saved. Without total transformation, there is no salvation – Colossians 1:13

TEM 1193 March 7, 2013 – THE ‘ HOW ’ OF TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PART 6 – How total transformation comes about. Why are we born again of God? – Ephesians 2:8-10. The hardest thing to do is to submit to God and be transformed; but the easiest is for God to transform us. Jeremiah 6:16-17, Matthew 11:28-30 – God says His yoke is easy and His burden light. Without spiritual understanding we cannot follow God – Matthew 13:11. Understanding is to depart from the evil things we used to do – to shun evil -Job 28:28. Grace comes to open our eyes to see what is right and what is evil – and to then avoid evil. Our righteousness is in Christ. Without Christ we can get no way – John 14:6. We are to be willing to obey God and do His good works.

TEM 1194 March 14, 2013 – THE HINDRANCES TO TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PART 7 – God wants His children that will enter His rest to follow Him fully – not partially. Submission to God must be full and total – Numbers 14:20-24. He says if you are lukewarm, He will spit you out -Revelation 3:16. And Jesus warned in Luke 14:26 that if we are not willing to surrender all we are not fit to be His disciple. For God – it is all or nothing and there is no partiality with God -1 Peter 1:17 – No exemption for anyone and no exception to the rule. Key spiritual hindrances to total transformation include – Faulty Foundations (relationship with God/true righteousness and holiness/spiritual repentance/doctrinal foundation) and Lack of Spiritual Understanding.

TEM 1195 March 21, 2013 – BLAMELESS IN LOVE
The product of total transformation is to be perfect and blameless in love – Ephesians 1:4, Luke 1:68-74. The evidence that we have been transformed is the fruit of the Spirit that transformed us. He has changed us into His image to produce good works – works of love – 2 Corinthians 3:18. God is light. God is Love and God is liberty and there is no fear in love. The sign that we love Him and have been totally transformed is our obedience – 1 John 5:1-3. The fruit of that transformation will be love – John 15:1-2, 5-10

TEM 1196 March 28, 2013 – HOW FAR CAN WE STRETCH MERCY?
This is response to a question originally asked in August 2012. Matthew 5:7 – Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Mercy is compassion. To be merciful is to be compassionate. Compassion is the extension of love and gratitude. It is to put oneself in that unpleasant state of another person. Have you ever allowed yourself to be given away for the use of another? Can you allow another to come first before you? In John 13:34-35 Christ redefined love for those who are His disciples. How did Christ love? – John 15:12-13. If God has shown us mercy and we cannot extend mercy, then we are ungrateful.

TEM 1197 April 4, 2013 – GIVING WITHOUT EXPECTATION
No expectations from God for a true believer. A believer’s only expectation should be eternal for those who are totally transformed. There is nothing wrong with being expectant; but do not let that expectation quench the Spirit of God. 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 – Who is a cheerful giver? It is one who gives willingly, selflessly, without expectation of what to get from God. Give cheerfully is to give with gratitude. We do not receive because we pray or give. God is more concerned with our obedience more than our sacrifice. John 15:7, 1 John 3:22-24 “And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” (1 John 3:22)

TEM 1200 May 9, 2013 – BY MY SPIRIT
Zechariah 4:6. A total transformation is not total until you have been tested. There is the mind of Christ and the mind that is in Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16, John 3:5-6. The mind in Christ is the only mind that can go on a mission for God and still learn while on it. Philippians 2:5-15. Key issues to understand the missions of life: a. The work of God is strictly the business of God and not man. b. You must be in awe of Him. To fear God is to depart from evil. c. God alone is to take exclusive glory for what He alone is doing. d. God’s call for everyone is different. No calling is dynamic until it is specific.

TEM 1201 May 16, 2013 – CHOICE –THE KEY TO FRUITFULNESS
John 15:1-7, 16. Jesus chose us before the foundations of the earth. We are to choose Him and bring forth fruit of His Holy Spirit. The sign that we have chosen Him and fully follow Him is bearing fruit. We choose Him by abiding in Him. We abide in Him when we obey Him He said. If we obey Him then we love Him and can bear fruit. John 14:12-17, 23-26, 1 John 2:3-6, 2 Corinthians 5:15. None should let the gifts puff one up. The gifts are given for the benefit of others primarily while the fruit leads us to transformation and eternal life.

TEM 1202 May 23, 2013 – THE CRUCIAL TEST OF SUBMISSION TO ONE ANOTHER
This affects churches, ministries, families and the work place. Submission to God means nothing until we submit to one another. Submission is a test of transformation and brokenness. It is a major ‘school’ in discipleship. This also is the school of divine humility and unreserved submission to authority. It is a test of brokenness and understanding. Matthew 18:3-4 – none will enter the kingdom of God without humility. Whoever humbles himself as a little child has crucified the flesh. Being converted like a child shows the mind that is in Christ – Philippians 2:5-6

TEM 1203 May 30, 2013 – QUESTIONS ABOUT MUTUAL SUBMISSION
This message is not for anyone who is not born of the Spirit of God – such a person will not understand – Romans 8:14, Romans 8:9. This is not for people who are willing to change. These are deep mysteries that clearly show that we, who are believers who have the Spirit of God, are called to be different. We will in this message deal with two areas as follows: (i) the reciprocal nature of mutual submission. (ii) We will also examine the difference between submission and obedience and how to submissively and respectfully disobey anything that is contrary to the expressed commandments and directives of God.

TEM 1205 June 13, 2013 – I GIVE MYSELF AWAY
‘Lord I give myself away so that you can use me.’ To whom do we give ourselves away and for whom? To give yourself away is to submit your will to another. You cannot totally yield to, and be transformed by, God; unless you have divine humility and unreserved submission. Submission to God that we cannot see is meaningless if we can not submit to one another and for the sake of others. We submit to the will of God for the benefit of others – otherwise it is of no use to God – 1 Peter 5:5. God chose us for His will. The will of God is for others. The Father sent the Son (Jesus) who was willing to love the world to die for the world and has left us that example to follow.

TEM 1206 June 20, 2013 – RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS
A highway of God is there for us and it is called the highway of holiness and righteousness. It shows the race we must run and finish the race while running according to the rules of God. Whoever does not run accordingly will not enter into His Kingdom. Isaiah 35:8-9, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Jesus came to show us this way – whoever does not follow that road will not enter God’s presence or see salvation. God created man in His image and the image of God is righteousness and holiness. Righteousness and holiness are fruits of love and obedience.

TEM 1207 June 27, 2013 – QUESTIONS ON RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS
Answers to questions asked regarding last week’s message on righteousness and holiness. Q1: Do you mean that without righteousness and holiness there is no salvation? There is no salvation without righteousness and holiness – Matthew 5:8; Psalms 15, 34:12-14 Only when we depart from evil can we truly walk with God – Amos 3:3; Matthew 5:48;Philippians 2:14-15. There is no salvation without transformation – Colossians 1:13, John 3:5-6, Ephesians 4:24 Q2: Is righteousness and holiness not a gradual process; after all Rome was not built in a day? Rome can also be destroyed in a second. There is a danger in ‘installmental’ payments on righteousness. You take this position if you are in control of tomorrow- Proverbs 14:12; Matthew 24:36-44, 48-51. Spiritual growth and maturity is a gradual process; but righteousness and holiness is a decision. Grace is given for regeneration to go and sin no more. John 8:11, John 5:14 Q3: Explain more about pastors being the main culprits in the violence against the kingdom of God. How do we identify the false ones? I am His servant if I obey Him.

TEM 1208 July 4, 2013 – HOW CAN ANYONE BE HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS?
Can anyone be holy and if so how can they do it? Character and nature of God is righteousness and holiness. If it were not possible to be holy and righteous, God would not have commanded us to be holy – Genesis 17:1; Leviticus 11:45; 1 Peter 1:16; 1 John 3:3. Without righteousness and holiness no one can see God or walk with Him – Isaiah 35:8; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19; Hebrews 12:14. It is this nature – holiness and righteousness – that differentiates us as believers (in Christ) from unbelievers – Philippians 2:14-15; 1 John 3:6-10; Romans 6:16.

TEM 1209 July 11, 2013 – THE HOW OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS
No one can be righteous and holy without God. God is the Author and the Finisher but your choice is in between. How can we make the right choices in between God authoring and finishing our faith in righteousness and holiness? We start by acknowledging that what we are doing is evil. We realize that we are offending God and depart from our evil and wicked ways. We depart by not doing those things that offend God again – then, when we can say we have understanding – Job 28:28. When we say it is hard we are depending on and relying on ourselves to do these things. Grace is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance – Romans 2:4 and the obedience then leads to righteousness – Romans 6:16.

TEM 1210 July 18, 2013 – IMPUTATION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
God can do anything that pleases Him but He chooses not to do certain things. God does not impute righteousness – He didn’t even impute it it for His own Son. John 5:26, 30; John 17:4-5. Our righteousness is in Christ if we do what Christ asks us to do. There is a highway we must walk on and it is a narrow one – Matthew 7:13-14. This highway of holiness and righteousness is difficult for people to follow only because we are not willing and because of the influence of false prophets and false teachers – The Word of God refers to them as ravening wolves. There is only one way to be set free and be on this highway – it is to know the truth. Knowing the truth is doing the truth.

TEM 1211 July 25, 2013 – QUESTIONS ON GENERATIONAL CURSE AND THE JUST LIVING BY FAITH
Q1. Is there anything that can trigger a generational curse? In Christ there is no generational curse. There are three things that may trigger problems for us as follows: i. What we do in life may bring problems in life because our family and children may watch and learn and do those things. Many practice what their parents practiced blindly. ii. Any abuse of authority under cover of priesthood or pastorhood triggers a curse. In Christ we are free – if we walk with Him. 1 Samuel 2:27-32 Anger of God can be kindled when we abuse entrustment. iii. Do not take advantage of orphans and widows. This angers God.
Q2. The just shall live by faith? Which one comes first – the just or faith? Romans 10:17 – Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Except we begin to fear God and depart from evil – there is no faith. To hear the word of God is to do the word of God. Romans 2:13 – not the hearer but the doers are justified.

TEM 1212 August 1, 2013 – SELF DECEPTION -HINDRANCE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS
God does not desire that anyone should perish. God is seeking for a man or woman to always stand in the gap for others to become obedient to God and be saved. If obedience leads to righteousness – Romans 6:16; then disobedience leads to unrighteousness. Deception creates little faith that leads to doubt – Matthew 14:21; Ephesians 5:5-6; Luke 21:8 We are to avoid deception and most importantly self-deception. Matthew 7:21-23. James 1:14-16

TEM 1213 August 8, 2013 – 3 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
THREE QUESTIONS DISCUSSED: Q1 – How is it that denominational doctrine is of the devil? It is the concept of different denominational doctrine that is contrary to the doctrine of Christ – John 17:20-23; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13 Q2 – What is wrong with having or using holy water or anointed oil? Never idolize anything or anyone. Romans 1:25. Instead of having holy water and anointed oil – be the holy water and anointed oil: John 7:38, Proverbs 4:23 Q3 – How do you afford to remain very calm at the face of provocation? Except the anger in you leaves, you will always fall. Your flesh has to submit to the Spirit of God. Let not your anger lead to sin. If you have not learned to conquer anger, you still do not know God. If you are full of the Holy Spirit, you will hear Him restrain you. Ecclesiastes 7:8-9; Proverbs 26:4; 17:14; 20:3; 26:20-21; 29:20 and Matthew 5:25-26
